New Home For The Vexmen in Eagle

We have finally secured some space for this year where we can build and not carry 17 teams worth of parts in cars every week to STEM Academy.

It has taken us a bit more time that we would have liked, but now that we have a building we can have more build nights and even set up a field. We can catch up before the competitions start in earnest in January.

We can thank Scott Featherman for finding this opportunity for the club and the owners of the building Eagle Nursery. The building is for rent and in the event someone does rent it we will need to find a new home but with luck we have use of this space for a few months.

– On PA route 100, turn at the light on to E Township Line Rd at the Harley Davidson dealer in Eagle (that is a right if you are coming north from Downingtown on 100, left if coming heading south on 100 from Eagle)
– Take the first left on to Senn Drive
– Turn right on to Oscar Way
– We are the building at the end of the drive, #122.

Please enter in the middle door of the building, not the glass doors at the end. We will only be using the second floor space of this building. The first floor office space in the front of the building was recently refurbished so we will not be using this space at all. We would like to keep it pristine.

The back half is a warehouse space where we will be entering and leaving the building. We may be using this as our cutting station area. We will be using the upstairs space and sharing it with the FLL teams. The main Vexmen work room is a large room with windows. This building is in excellent shape with plenty of power outlets and space for both Vexmen and the FLL teams.

Not through the glass doors please.

Please remember that we are not just guests in this space we are the caretakers. We are responsible for keeping it clean. If we mark up the walls or damage the carpet we will need to pay for that with club money. I need you all to take ownership of this space. Wipe you feet on the way in and look to make sure the lights are off and the carpets are clean on the way out. .
